Referred Legal Matters We Trust

Not Every Case We Handle—But Every Client Matters

While our current practice focuses on auto accidents and slip & fall cases, we’re often contacted about other types of personal injury. If we’re not the right fit, we’ll connect you with an experienced, trustworthy attorney—someone Clarence Barry-Austin knows and respects.

Practice Areas We Refer to Trusted Colleagues

Personal Injury

From serious falls to dog bites or burn injuries, personal injury law spans a wide range of claims. If your case isn’t something we currently handle, we’ll direct you to an advocate who can help.

Medical Malpractice

Cases involving negligent hospitals, doctors, or nursing staff require highly specialized attention. We refer medical malpractice claims to attorneys with deep experience in healthcare-related litigation.

Defective Products

When a dangerous product causes harm, holding the manufacturer accountable is essential. We can connect you with attorneys who focus on product liability cases involving faulty machinery, medications, or consumer goods.

Police Misconduct & Civil Rights

If you’ve experienced abuse of authority or civil rights violations, we take your concern seriously. Clarence Barry-Austin refers these matters to colleagues who are deeply committed to justice and systemic accountability.

Additional Matters FAQs

  • Why don’t you take these cases yourself?

Clarence Barry-Austin has decades of experience in a wide range of personal injury law, but today, he limits his practice to specific focus areas. Rather than stretching thin, he ensures every client gets the right fit by referring out cases that require different expertise.

  • How do you choose who to refer cases to?

Clarence only refers clients to attorneys he knows personally and professionally—people with a proven track record and the right credentials for your case. Every referral comes from experience, not a directory.

  • Is there a fee to get referred?

No. Our goal is to help you find the right legal representation. If we believe your case is better served elsewhere, we’ll guide you in that direction at no cost.

  • Will you stay involved after referring me?

That depends on your needs. Some clients prefer we stay involved in a limited way, while others work solely with the new attorney. We’ll talk it through and make sure the transition feels right to you.

  • What if I don’t know what type of case I have?

That’s completely normal. Reach out to us. We’ll review your situation and either take the next steps ourselves or guide you to someone who can.
